Flexible anode is also named polymer type cable anode,cable anode is made of the conductive modified polymer with stable performance,Graphite powder as a conductive material,copper core cable used as a current conductor,anode like cable is made and it has the good flexibility,strong ability against mechanical damage,good chemical stability.Outside diameter of the cable is 12.7mm,cross-sectional area of copper core wire is 11.4mm2,so the unit length resistance R’ is 2m Ω..-1.
Flexible anode is mainly used for cathodic protection of buried pipeline and the tank bottom,its development is mainly to solve the aging old pipe,the perplexing pipeline,outside wall of tank bottom,the pipe with long distance,small spacing parallel and high resistivity environment;General flexible anode has the following parts:copper conductor,conducting polymer anode materials,coke slag,fabric etc.
2、Installation instruction
Flexible anode cable laying is similar to the cable ,firstly,to dig a anode ditch paralleing with the pipeline,fill half of coke powder in the ditch,then put the anode in it,then covering half of coke powder ,and then use the original soil(fine soil,if it is the rock should be changing soil)to cover,then can be a lot of backfill.
